Who is responsible for your data

What we collect

  • Your email address and order details, received from Stripe when you buy.
  • Your consent record: the text you agreed to before payment, with its date and time.
  • Download logs: date, a hashed version of your IP address and your browser's user agent.
  • Messages you send through the contact form (name, email, optional order number, message).
  • Technical logs needed to run and secure the site.

Payment card data is handled by Stripe and Link only, never by us.

  • To deliver your files and help you with your order: performance of the contract.
  • To keep accounting records and proof of your consent: legal obligation.
  • To prevent fraud and protect download links: legitimate interest.

Who processes it for us

  • Stripe and Link (Stripe), for payment, receipts and tax.
  • Lovable and Lovable Cloud, for hosting, database and emails.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In that case, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.

How long we keep it

  • Orders and consent records: as long as required for accounting and proof.
  • Download logs: 12 months.
  • Contact messages: 24 months.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or erase your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to contact@thefunderfile.com. You can also complain to the CNIL at cnil.fr.
